The first fact is that health insurance reform will mean more patient choice. It will allow every American who likes his or her current plan to keep it. And it will free doctors and patients to make the health decisions that make the most sense, not the most profits for insurance companies.

INTERNMENT CAMPS IN THE OFFING?

The following appears on World Net Daily's webpage this morning and reports to be a quote from a GO ARMY web video promotion for internment resettlement specialists:

Internment/Resettlement (I/R) Specialists in the Army are primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility. I/R Specialists provide rehabilitative, health, welfare, and security to U.S. military prisoners within a confinement or correctional facility; conduct inspections; prepare written reports; and coordinate activities of prisoners/internees and staff personnel.

Has Obama and his generals a new plan here for "reeducating" those dangerous elderly people now gathering at Town Hall Meetings to vigorously protest his hideous Obamacare?

One sincerely hopes not and looks for a disclaimer from his Worship at an early date.

SOME STATE RUN MEDIA OUTLETS HAVE FAILED TO IDENTIFY CONVICTED CONGRESSMAN WILLIAM JEFFERSON, DEMOCRAT, LOUISIANA, BY HIS PARTY AFFILIATION

CNN has lately joined the State Run Media's effort to not reference Mr. Jefferson's (Democrat, La) party affiliation. We've been seeing a lot of this lately. One network only has, to this date, identified the convicted Jefferson as a card-carrying democrat.

We find, too, that often political miscreants, if Republican, are almost always mentioned in the press by party, liberals have lately not been so identified. John Edwards, for instance, former Vice Presidential candidate, is having more difficulties with his ex girlfriend, but somehow, on some news outlets, his party affiliation is often never mentioned. As though we're too stupid to remember him.

And they wonder why they are not trusted by ordinary citizens.

THE MEDIA'S SICKENING DOUBLE STANDARD

I'm still laughing.

Recently, some wag painted a Joker face over a photp of the Annointed One causing a crescendo of howls and outrage from left-wing pundits, moronic left-wing blog sites, and the usual suspects--the cable TV websites of political infamy. FOX excepted, of course. If I were the artist of this Obama Joker Face, I would hide in the tall grass until this blows over--if ever.

I've always said that Beltway libs have absolutely no sense of humor or sense of proportion or sense of decency, and now I must add to that list, very short memories.

For instance, during the Bush years Vanity Fair once ran a picture of President Bush in Joker face. It was a bit shocking. But I do not remember one remonstrance over the publishing of this picture from any democrat or pundit or network flack, not ever.

As I say, just another example of the liberal media's many political double standards.

Again. just saying.

OBAMA A PATHOLOGICAL NARCISSIST?

According to Israeli psychiatrist Sam Vaknin, Obama is a narcissist and a politician who is able to create a cult of personality around him, much as Stalin, Hitler, Jim Jones, etc. An excerpt from Dr. Vaknin's essay follows:

One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents, Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention.

When one considers Dr. Vaknin's provocative piece in its entirety, written before Obama became president, he seems to paint an accurate and chilling portrait of Obama and his cult of reverence among minorities and the unreflecting herd.

Just wondering.

HALL OF SHAME!

AARP

This alleged "protector" of senior rights AARP has stabbed seniors right between the collar bones. Astonishingly AARP is push, push, pushing the President's draconian, near euthanasia-light healthcare bill with a sickening zeal that boggles the mind. One wonders at the possible quid pro quo here.

AARP customers should cancel their policies in droves and let these union-loving charlatans at AARP know how disgusted they are with the notion of Obamacare and with the slobbering AARP love affair with our Machiavellian dunce of a chief executive.

WARNING TO SENIORS

President Obama is obviously counting on the draconian rationing of seniors' health care to take up the slack in the funding of his monstrous Obamacare takeover of a large part of our nation's economy. How do I know that? Here follows Obama's own barely literate words on the subject as found on Laura Ingraham's website's Soundbite of the week.

"We know we spend a huge amount of money that last year of life.
More and more people are gonna say, I don't want people poking tubes, and, you know, uh, doing all sorts of...stuff.
The most important thing we can do on end of life care right now is to encourage people
to look at hospice as a. . .legitimate option."

This begs the question, what happens when a beloved senior's family desires to extend his life as long as possible and the "system" forbids further care? I shudder to think. Canadians and Brits right now face this dilemma. What do they do? They come here for treatment. But what if Obama makes sure there is no here, here? Where to go then?

What I don't understand is why more people aren't alarmed by the obvious. Obama will balance the health care budget on the backs of the old people. Is there any doubt?

And where is the sainted protectors of the elderly AARP? They are strangely silent on this.
