Health care is complex. It touches every American life. It drives our economy. People must be allowed to learn the facts.
The first fact is that health insurance reform will mean more patient choice. It will allow every American who likes his or her current plan to keep it. And it will free doctors and patients to make the health decisions that make the most sense, not the most profits for insurance companies.

SOME STATE RUN MEDIA OUTLETS HAVE FAILED TO IDENTIFY CONVICTED CONGRESSMAN WILLIAM JEFFERSON, DEMOCRAT, LOUISIANA, BY HIS PARTY AFFILIATION
CNN has lately joined the State Run Media's effort to not reference Mr. Jefferson's (Democrat, La) party affiliation. We've been seeing a lot of this lately. One network only has, to this date, identified the convicted Jefferson as a card-carrying democrat.
We find, too, that often political miscreants, if Republican, are almost always mentioned in the press by party, liberals have lately not been so identified. John Edwards, for instance, former Vice Presidential candidate, is having more difficulties with his ex girlfriend, but somehow, on some news outlets, his party affiliation is often never mentioned. As though we're too stupid to remember him.
And they wonder why they are not trusted by ordinary citizens.

THE MEDIA'S SICKENING DOUBLE STANDARD
I'm still laughing.
Recently, some wag painted a Joker face over a photp of the Annointed One causing a crescendo of howls and outrage from left-wing pundits, moronic left-wing blog sites, and the usual suspects--the cable TV websites of political infamy. FOX excepted, of course. If I were the artist of this Obama Joker Face, I would hide in the tall grass until this blows over--if ever.
I've always said that Beltway libs have absolutely no sense of humor or sense of proportion or sense of decency, and now I must add to that list, very short memories.
For instance, during the Bush years Vanity Fair once ran a picture of President Bush in Joker face. It was a bit shocking. But I do not remember one remonstrance over the publishing of this picture from any democrat or pundit or network flack, not ever.
As I say, just another example of the liberal media's many political double standards.

OBAMA A PATHOLOGICAL NARCISSIST?
According to Israeli psychiatrist Sam Vaknin, Obama is a narcissist and a politician who is able to create a cult of personality around him, much as Stalin, Hitler, Jim Jones, etc. An excerpt from Dr. Vaknin's essay follows:
One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents, Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention.
When one considers Dr. Vaknin's provocative piece in its entirety, written before Obama became president, he seems to paint an accurate and chilling portrait of Obama and his cult of reverence among minorities and the unreflecting herd.

This alleged "protector" of senior rights AARP has stabbed seniors right between the collar bones. Astonishingly AARP is push, push, pushing the President's draconian, near euthanasia-light healthcare bill with a sickening zeal that boggles the mind. One wonders at the possible quid pro quo here.
AARP customers should cancel their policies in droves and let these union-loving charlatans at AARP know how disgusted they are with the notion of Obamacare and with the slobbering AARP love affair with our Machiavellian dunce of a chief executive.

WARNING TO SENIORS
President Obama is obviously counting on the draconian rationing of seniors' health care to take up the slack in the funding of his monstrous Obamacare takeover of a large part of our nation's economy. How do I know that? Here follows Obama's own barely literate words on the subject as found on Laura Ingraham's website's Soundbite of the week.
"We know we spend a huge amount of money that last year of life.
More and more people are gonna say, I don't want people poking tubes, and, you know, uh, doing all sorts of...stuff.
The most important thing we can do on end of life care right now is to encourage people
to look at hospice as a. . .legitimate option."
This begs the question, what happens when a beloved senior's family desires to extend his life as long as possible and the "system" forbids further care? I shudder to think. Canadians and Brits right now face this dilemma. What do they do? They come here for treatment. But what if Obama makes sure there is no here, here? Where to go then?
What I don't understand is why more people aren't alarmed by the obvious. Obama will balance the health care budget on the backs of the old people. Is there any doubt?
And where is the sainted protectors of the elderly AARP? They are strangely silent on this.

If this is true, where is the outcry from AARP and other liberal groups alleged to be protectors of the elderly? I haven't heard one peep.
By the way, trimming costs "on the backs of the poor and elderly" seems only now to be in fashion, owing no doubt to liberal pressure groups' blind and lemming-like allegiance to Napolean Obamapart.
Trust me, they're coming for us old coots to help them fund illegal immigrants and all those other people who don't want to pay for health care and who will not have to in the future. It's part of this brave new world you dunces voted for.

So tell me this, what will it take for you lovers of "change and hope" to finally admit that you screwed the pooch?
When unemployment rises to 11 %. Which is likely, since we're almost there.
Or maybe when the government owns everything and tells you what to wear, when you can seek medical and dental care or when you are too old to be allowed access to it, which light bulbs you can use, where you can live and where you can't, how many sheets of toilet paper you will be allowed per day, when to turn on the lights, when to shut off the lights, what you can eat or drink, what you can drive, who you can marry, and who you can't?
Laugh if you will, but it's coming, but it will be something that arrives incrementally, one outrageous elimination of freedom and choice at a time--all of it wrapped up for you in some disingenuous cry of alarm over some supposed CRISIS. For remember this, Marxists and progressives, like the Dunce and his handlers, NEVER GIVE UP.

STATE RUN MEDIA
RUSH IS RIGHT, we have a state run media.
We've had it a long while, but it's never been to a point as extreme as we're seeing now. Frankly, such a slavish, fawning media, prompted by the election of a black President, will have both tragic and dangerous consequences. From a financial perspective it insures the eventual collapse of our economy as trillions of dollars of debt, debt monetized by the Treasury, will create a hyper-inflation unheard of in America.
This calamity will be brought about by the simple fact that Obama has NO CRITICS in the press, other than FOX news and some elements of the Blogesphere. The other frightening aspect of an unfettered extreme left-wing President, like the One, is Obama's apparent love of Islam and his uncritical view of despots in general. He doesn't seem to care much for the Americans who make this country work, either. Taxpayers be damned, seems to be his mantra, considering the monumental spending binge he's been on--with, I might add, the lack of meaningful push-back by Republicans.
Moderate Republicans, when the final chapter of our nation's collapse is written, will bear a heavy responsibility for their cowardice in opposing this far-left, naive dunce, as will Americans who have blithely ignored the gravity of Obama's incompetennce and apparent desire to turn this proud country into a socialist entity--or maybe worse.
I am not alone here, listen to Robert Samuels of Newsweek magazine who just wrote the following: Our political system works best when a president faces checks on his power. But the main checks on Obama are modest. They come from congressional Democrats, who largely share his goals if not always his means. The leaderless and confused Republicans don't provide effective opposition. And the press—on domestic, if not foreign, policy—has so far largely abdicated its role as skeptical observer.
A rather tame remonstrance by Mr. Samuels, however, considering this came from Newsweek, one of the most hysterical and uncritical Obamamania news outlets, it's a remarkable reflection indeed.

SOTOMAYOR, OBAMA'S ANTI-CONSTITUTIONALIST!
To understand the true nature of the One, of how cynical and far to the left he really is, one only need consider his appointment to the high court of Sonia Sotomayor, an Hispanic appeals court judge and a woman who has said (to paraphrase) that courts make policy and that a Latina woman can make better decisions than a white male. What kind of Supreme Court Justice will one with such aberrant, ACLU-type, anti-constitutional views really make? A horrible one in my opinion! It's tragic to think about having someone like this, someone on the Court who may believe that the Constitution is a "Living document."
Is this what we need? More affirmative-action racial prejudice dictated from the bench. Didn't we endure enough of it in the Warren and Brennan court which turned the Bill of Rights on its ear? Ask Alan Bakke or the white New Haven firefighters about the unconstitutional and terrible effects of affirmative-action programs on some people's civil rights--white males in particular, whose only crime was being born white instead of a more PC color. This kind of thinking is truly the antithesis of what Martin Luther King preached in the street and on the pulpit. He ringingly fought for people not to be judged by the color of their skin. What would he think?
Can the nation long survive this Marxist President? I wonder.

"EARTH DAY" INSANITY
This environmentalist wacko day-of-days spotlights America's tragic mass delusion of global warming. The politicians, Hollywood dummies, academics, and dupes of the Sierra Club, et al who daily promulgate the idiotic fantasy of man-caused GW (from Al Gore to the morons at the Weather Channel, and right down to the classroom teachers who frighten little children) are leading this nation to eventual ruin.
Global warming is an anti-capitalist hoax and those pushing this feel-good canard should be, to paraphrase Dickens's Scrooge, boiled in their own pudding with a sprig of holly through their hearts.
The earth is actually getting colder. And if we continue to give credence to the doom saying global warming dunces, we will suffer extraordinary economic hardship and an eventual collapse that will make the Depression look like child's play.
Global warming is an anti-capitalist hoax and those pushing this feel-good canard should be, to paraphrase Dickens's Scrooge, boiled in their own pudding with a sprig of holly through their hearts.

Newly-minted Emperor Barack Obama wants all Americans and police departments across the nation alerted to the the threat of a growing right wing extremist militia movement.
I reference the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis report titled:
Right wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.
Nationally-known talk show host, Roger Hedgecock and others have recently reflected on the 9-page DHS pamphlet, put out by Obama subaltern, and chief propagandist, Janet Napolitano, and believe me, it makes for scary reading. In short, supposedly, the poor economy and the stresses caused by same are fueling a resurgence of far-right militia recruitment. Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma bombing are mentioned in the Report, no doubt as evidence of what can happen when unrestrained freedom of opinion is allowed by a benevolent government.
Our noble bureaucrats at DHS, with your safety in mind, are thus trembling with concern over what they perceive as a conspiratorial horde of evil and dangerous right-wing extremists (you and me) who could eventually wreak havoc on the sainted Obamanation. It's curious, though, isn't it, that this paranoid, delusional report should surface now, on the eve of the April 15 Tea Parties planned across the nation? Just coincidence, I'm sure.
Additionally noted, and more ominous, is the DHS people's concern that some returning military veterans may be ensnared and co-opted by these worrisome extremists. We already know that warnings have previously been issued by the government for authorities to be wary of anyone with an NRA, Ron Paul, 2nd Amendment-approving bumper sticker, or any other extremist, right-wing regalia on board.

CHUCK SCHUMER--"STRONG NATIONAL SECURITY IS OVER"

Talking with left-wing Air America talk show host Rachel Maddow, Senator Chuck Schumer sort of let his hair down. The New York senator told Maddow that the "hard-right's traditional values" and "strong national security, are over." And with Barry Obama now at the helm, methinks Schumer might have just swerved into the truth. The Messiah does seem to have little stomach for a fight--even with four pirate thugs in a rowboat.
That said, it's still hard to listen to such stupid stuff from a United States senator--even one as hard-left as Schumer. It's a dangerous world out there and Schumer's apparent advocacy of a weak national security seems flat suicidal to me. And I venture to say that most Americans would violently disagree with Chuck's curious attitude about out national defense.

SOMALI PIRATES VS OBAMA'S U.S. NAVY--THE STANDOFF
A reporter on the Telegraph (UK) is now referring to Mr. Obama as "President Pantywaist." And can you blame him?
Always arrogant and naive, Mr. Obama has thus far refused to comment further on the ludicrous situation we find ourselves in off the shores of Mogadishu. A United States sea captain is being held hostage by four Islamic goons, in a rowboat, while a U. S. Navy destroyer sits a full mile off, apparently seeking further direction from Washington. So far, no word has come to put an end to the navy's distress. The Messiah, when queried about the huge embarrassment yesterday, didn't want to discuss it, being just that moment involved in important politics domestic. Meanwhile, the brave American captain remains a captive.
We do have some encouragement today, however, as we hear the navy is sending in reinforcements to assist the destroyer against this pesky rowboat. On the other hand, the Islamic pirates have also threatened to send in their own fleet of hijacked ships to thwart our navy's plan. Can you say Nimitz?
More embarrassing perhaps, to an administration that seems impervious to same, is the insanity of hearing our own Secretary of State, after saying how deeply worried she was about the situation, erupt into giggles and laughter right in the midst of an otherwise serious discussion of this truly historic event.

WE'RE ARROGANT--THE MESSIAH
Typical Democrat pol overseas: bash your own country and fawn all over our alleged allies.
So no one was surprised when the Dunce told his European audience, peopled by castrated males and drooling network Obamamaniacs, that America has sometimes been arrogant to our European partners. How sad. I guess he was thinking of when we ran to their aid in WWI and WWII then, in large measure, financed the rebuilding of their shattered cities. He also seems to have forgotten our participation in the Berlin Air Lift during the Cold War.
I can only say that when I was on leave from the Army in Germany in the late fifties, I walked through a few G.I. graveyards filled with the white crosses of thousands of formerly "arrogant" Americans. It was a sobering, yet instructive moment. I wonder how much time Obama has spent in the military service, or has his service been mostly to power build for himself in the dubious Chicago environs.
Finally, if Obama could possibly feel shame, which I doubt, he would not be able to sleep tonight. But I think that only a quisling nature could ever speak on foreign soil as he did about our country--his country-one which has shed so much blood and treasure to save other nations from war, pestilence, earthquake, tsunami, and you name it.
For shame.

When the subject of the forthcoming North Korean missile launch came up, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the following on FOX News last weekend: "America is not prepared to do anything about it." What? At least the Japanese promise to blow the damned thing out of the sky if it nears the Japanese homeland. I wonder if Gates would be "not prepared to do anything about it" if the rogue nation's inter ballistic missile were headed straight for Los Angeles.
This brilliant reflection of American weakness should hearten our many enemies in the world.
On a different front, the Hildabeast, our Secretary of State, has suggested "talks" with the murderous Taliban, at the same time she's warning of big cuts in our own defense budget. Closely following this cheery news, the Taliban announced a nasty surprise might be in the works for Washington D.C. Do you suppose these things might be connected? Naw.

He equates the symbolic turning off of lights for an hour on Saturday to Selma, the Civil Rights event marked by violent attacks on its marchers. Fear of global warming it seems is not only politically correct but those abusing the silly notion might be raaacccisst!
To Edward, I say: "Shut off your own lights, you enviro lunatic!"
Moreover, morons in Sacramento are thinking of banning the color black for California automobiles! More insane fears of global warming.
And now comes President Obama to assure that us that he will eventually be able to place "monitors" in all our homes in order for the government to better regulate when we AMERICAN CITIZENS should turn our lights on or off. MOB RULE!
Yesterday 85 REPUBLICANS joined the Dunce's shameless Democrat-run Congress in seeking out individual American citizens for ex-poste facto punishment for the legitimate bonuses that were authorized by these same spineless congressmen!
We now have legally sanctioned mob rule!
I point out in particular two alleged California conservatives who joined Madame LeFarge and our modern day Robespierre's in sending to Madam Guillotine people whose only crime was to accept previously contracted bonus payments from their employer. Tom McClintock and Dana Rohrabacher have listened to the mob and have thrown to the unreflecting rabble these innocent victims, some of whom are now being threatened by the mob in their own communities.
This is a dark day in America, for it reflects the almost complete social and cultural breakdown of a once civilized society. We saw a similar collapse of public decency in pre-WWII Germany.
The wooden-wheeled tumbrel may now be requisitioned by cowardly politicians against whomever they choose, on whatever trumped up public outrage is convenient for their personal vendettas.

The loud-mouthed rabble-rousers in the public now threatening to hang AIG execs from the rafters with piano wire, an old NAZI punishment, have stupidly missed the point in their combined glee and rage to punish SOMEONE for the AIG bailout mess. As usual, the mob is unreflecting and hair-trigger stupid as mobs often are. No, the real culprits in the bailout scandal are actually some of the same people now sitting in judgement. CHENEY SAYS OBAMA POLICIES MAKING US LESS SAFE. IS HE RIGHT?
Russia's Medvedev has just announced a huge rearmament effort.
President Obama, our teleprompter junkie, has countered this threat by oft expressing his desire for America to reduce it's own defense spending. He is following through with this policy too, for the Boston Globe reports today about America's plans for a military reduction and the scrapping of new weapons, to wit:
"Two defense officials who were not authorized to speak publicly said {Defense Secretary}Gates will announce up to a half-dozen major weapons cancellations later this month. Candidates include a new Navy destroyer, the Air Force's F-22 fighter jet, and Army ground-combat vehicles, the officials' said. More cuts are planned for later this year after a review that could lead to reductions in programs such as aircraft carriers and nuclear arms, the officials said."
Is this a wise policy? With North Korea ready to launch a new long range missile, with Iran a year or so short of achieving its goal of obtaining a nuclear weapon, with Islamic fanatics on the rise inside and outside our nation, with Mexico falling apart, with China balking at taking any more of our toxic debt and also building up its military, in this dangerous world, Obama is calling for America to cut its military budget presumably so he can lavish that money on the AIG bunch and the vast underclass which forms his true constituency.

In my opinion, both McCains have bashed Republicans for their own personal ends. The father, in order to ingratiate himself with the media left-wing slobberers so as to gain attention and a positive press. This to better facilitate his run at the Republican nomination. It worked. The MSM had loved him earlier when he'd repeatedly undermined President Bush and often joined hands across the aisle with Harry Reid. Then later they viewed him favorably when he sought their help for his presidential run. It all came to naught, of course, when the media deserted him enmass to join collective hands with the One.
Meghan, seeing this play out, and perhaps in order to jump start her writing enterprises and blog, has similarly turned on noted conservative writer Ann Coulter, undoubtedly knowing it will bring her aclaim and notice from the same media that enabled her papa.
Will Meghan's attempt to denigrate Coulter bring McCain's daughter the fame and fortune she craves? I have a sense that it just might do that.

Green "activist" Van Jones has been selected as our newly destitute nation's Green Jobs Czar.
Now that's really great news, isn't it? We thought arch leftist Carol Browner was a frightening selection as EPA head, knowing her singular socialist tendencies, but this choice of Minnesota's Mr. Jones should scare hell out of anybody who fears global warming kooks slipping behind the wheel of America's once proud energy bus.
Only the Sierra Club and other big eco-freak, leftist contributors to the mass global warming delusion can be happy with this zealot's ascension to into Obamaland.
I hear the EPA is already going after dust raised by farmers tilling their land. Seems dust contains "harmful elements." What's next, no more farming? Hey, no more food. Thanks a lot, you environmental fruitcakes.

In a speech to Justice Department employees, marking Black History Month, new Attorney General Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.
This man and his boss are obsessed with race and, in my opinion, there's a lot of "pay back" simmering within the breasts of many Obama officials. They seem to have this "it's our turn now" attitude. This is not helpful.
Holder further opined: “Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards,” he said.
Cowards? Try telling that to the descendants of the 600,000 dead white men killed in the Civil War. Tell it to any WWII vet, that is--if you feel lucky Mr. Holder. Now, I must say that Mr. Holder is careful to say that he's speaking primarily here of race relations. In fact, he wants whites to have more conversation with minorities and vice-versa.
So, what does he want us to say?
Shall we remind the gentleman that more than six trillion dollars in aid has already been dumped in the "minority community" during the past forty years. So what does he want us to say? We've fought major wars on numerous continents (we cowards) to free whole populations from despotic regimes, asking only a plot of land to bury our dead. So what does he want us to say? A liberal administration rounded up Japanese Americans in WWII and interned them. No Republican administration has ever done that. So what does he want us to say? U.S. Peace Corps volunteers for years have gone into deepest Africa and other poor nations, wracked with poverty and exploited by Marxist regimes, to ease their suffering and free the people from hunger, disease, and poisonous water. So what does he want us to say?
A mea culpa, perhaps? Fat chance!

ACORN IN THE "STIMULUS" BILL IS AN OBAMANATION!
Responsible Republicans have been regrettably beaten back in their several attempts to kick out some of the more egregious federal handouts in the Federal Freeloaders' Protection Act. Most alarming is that the community rabble-rousing bunch known as ACORN has survived the cut. This means billions in their pockets to assist them in rounding up the usual suspects and getting the unreflecting, wealth-envy herd registered to vote. This is a true disaster. And it is all the more reaon for the GOP National Committee to work toward eventually disenfranchising the three "moderate" quisling Republican senators who are giving the Demos much needed cover on this atrocity of a economy-destroying social engineering coup for Comrade Pelosi and the Messiah. These rebel senators deserve serious censure from the Party. They are: Collins and Snowe of Maine and Specter from Pennsylvania. All three are traitorous RINOs and seem to love dancing "across the aisle" faster and more frequentlythan even John McCain.
So much for Obama's steering toward the center.
So when the Republican primaries in these quislings' states come along, the Party should work hard to find a conservative replacement and deny these three libs any further opportunity to side with the enemy.
We are really screwed folks.

SENATE CONFIRMS HOLDER
The man who convinced the fornicator-in-chief to pardon fugitive dirt bag Marc Rich and those vicious Puerto Rican terrorists is now the nation's attorney general. The Republicans could muster just 21 votes against this dangerous man, obviously rolling over again for the Messiah's tax cheats and badly flawed cabinet appointments. What are the GOP pretenders afraid of? Perhaps they fear being called rrraaaaaccccccciiiissssstttttssss! Whatever the cause of their spinelessness, they give a good imitation of the party, not of Lincoln, but of Wally Cox.
For shame.

THE CORONATION OF "THE ONE" OFFENDED THE HELL OUT OF ME!
I'm offended!
I know, being a white male, that I've got a hell of a lot of nerve being offended by today's racial slur from noted civil rights activist Reverend Lowery, but it is what it is. His sophomoric poem, wherein he wished, ". . . white people will do what is right," is a monumental, unwarranted, and egregious insult. I'm thinking of the 600,000 men, mostly white, who died in the great Civil War so that the good Reverend could get up at the podium and heap scorn on those of us not yet persuaded that we're all guilty wretches, like Chris Mathews, of the Obama cable network, who said today, while apparently overcome by the rhetoric of the One: . . . "This is not partisan, but there is JFK and FDR and maybe, Barrack Obama." Not partisan? Chris who gets "shivers running up and down his legs" from listening to the Anointed, not partisan? I'll retire to Bedlam.
Network anchors and journalists today have been so overcome by the wondrous boy orator and the "historic" nature of his coronation, that they've barely managed to do more than bleat out such adjectives as: incredible, amazing, historic.
Nonpartisan, all.
But of course, the MSM have been doing this for a year and a half. Methinks if they had any shame at all, they would slit their wrists and leave their stage of infamy forever.
Even FOX News has been caught up in the glorious event. Alleged conservatives like Bill Kristol and Charles Krauthammer seemingly have gone populist on us. Krauthammer, in particular, has revealed his solid Beltway credentials by finding Mr. Geithner, Obama's pick for Treasury Secretary--who failed to pay taxes for four years running--worthy to tackle the great problems of the economy. He avers that Geithner's nonpayment was a "trivial" matter.
Non partisans, all.
Keith Olberman, the vitriolic sage of MSNBC, can't even wait for the corpse of the hated George Bush to draw flies, calling on Congress to seek criminal sanctions against the man who won the war in Iraq, despite liberal quislings who did everything to disrupt him in that noble goal. In this, he is apparently being joined by the Harridan of the House, Nancy Pelosi and the moron from Michigan, Mr. Conyers who both have strongly considered the notion, one so popular with the Democrat lunatic fringe.
In closing, I have to tell you that one can still count on the race pimps and race baiters to continue stridently demanding "equal rights," even though millions of evil white people helped elect the new Messiah--a black president. I stress that, just in case it has escaped their attention.

BLACKLISTED
Conservative author Ann Coulter has been officially banned from NBC and MSNBC because of her alleged highly critical opinions of the New Messiah. In other words, she's not accepting His Worship's role as emperor.
